STAY IN THE SADDLE.
STAY IN THE SADDLE.
Origins
Founded in July 2019, the Loyalty Riderz is a Black Cowboy
and Cowgirl Club that was created with a vision to bring together
a community of horse enthusiasts who share a love for equestrian life while embracing and celebrating Black Equestrian history
and culture.
Since its inception, the club has grown into a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering a deep sense of community, camaraderie, and education among its members and the broader public.
Mission
The mission of the Loyalty Riderz is to promote community connectedness through a variety of social activities tailored for horse owners, riders, and lovers alike. The club actively seeks to stimulate interest in horses and equestrian care, offering opportunities for training, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on experiences. More importantly, the Loyalty Riderz are committed to preserving and sharing the rich, yet often underrepresented, legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls, highlighting their contributions to the history
of the American West and the equestrian world at large.
Outreach
With a strong focus on engagement, the club organizes a wide range of activities, including equestrian events such as training sessions, clinics, trail rides, campouts, and monthly gatherings at the Club Headquarters. These events not only hone members’ riding and horsemanship skills, but also provide a space for shared experiences and cultural exchange.
In addition to its equestrian focus, the Loyalty Riderz host social events aimed at strengthening bonds within the club, and the larger community. From dinner dances and bus trips to rodeos, these gatherings create opportunities for members to connect beyond their shared love of horses.
Through these initiatives, the Loyalty Riderz Black Cowboy and Cowgirl Club continues to embody its mission, making significant strides in promoting equestrianism, community, and the rich history of Black cowboys and cowgirls for generations to come.
